LASSO

In the throes of codependency it can feel impossible to escape. LASSO is a confrontation with the hidden, emotional landscape of one heart tethered to another.

it is a declaration, a lullaby, and a melodrama.
it is running in a circle thinking you're going somewhere. it is purposefully putting yourself in a trap. it is hugging and no letting go. it is falling and expecting to be caught.

This piece was made in collaboration with the original cast, Victoria Chassé-Dominguez, Nouhoum Koita, Briana Del Mundo, and Eleanor Simmons. Special thanks to Marcus Sarjeant and Ma'ayan Kaplan for their contributions to later iterations.

Music: Ennio Morricone, Lalo Schifrin
